Aurea Gold and Diamonds LLP (“Aurea”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We process personal data in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable law.
What we collect
You can browse this website without telling us who you are. We only collect personal data you choose to give us:
- Consultation requests — when you use the booking page, your name, phone number, email address, country, the kind of enquiry, and your preferred date and time.
- Messages — anything you send us by WhatsApp, email or social media, including photographs or sketches of pieces you would like made.
- Commissions — if you go on to commission a piece, the details needed to design, make, deliver and service it, such as ring size, delivery address and payment records.
This website does not run advertising or analytics trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) for security and to keep the site running; see our Cookie Policy for detail on what is stored in your browser.
How the booking form works
The booking form does not store your details on our website. When you submit it, it opens WhatsApp with your request pre-filled, and nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp. From that point your message is also handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms), under its own privacy policy.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange your consultation.
- To design, make, certify, deliver and service pieces you commission.
- To meet our legal, tax, hallmarking and accounting obligations.
- To tell you about new collections or events, only if you have asked us to. You can stop these at any time.
We never sell your personal data.
Who we share it with
Only with the people who help us serve you, and only as much as they need: our goldsmiths and setters, gemmological laboratories that certify your stones, couriers and insurers who deliver your piece, payment providers, and our professional advisers. We will also share data where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to a commission are deleted within 24 months. Records of commissions and sales are kept for as long as tax and consumer law require, and for as long as we service your piece.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct or complete it, or to erase it, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. If you are unhappy with how we have handled a request, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
We limit access to your data to the people who need it and protect it with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending payment card details by message.

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
