Gold Vermeil

Silver first

Gold vermeil is fine jewellery built on a high-quality sterling silver base. Every piece begins as a fully finished silver form, before it ever meets the gold.

  1. Hand sketching a ring design in pencil on aged paper.
    DrawingEach piece is drawn at actual size, with the gold layer planned from the start.

Gold over silver

A thick layer of real 18K gold is bonded to the silver through electroplating, 5 microns deep, so the gold you see is genuine gold, not a thin wash.

Checked, then worn

A 5 micron layer keeps every detail of the silver crisp and is thick enough to wear for years. Nothing leaves the bench before it has been checked and tried on.
